State safety Inspections are SUCH a pain. Wasted two hours last week waiting around, twiddling my thumbs while the 'inspector' killed time, smoked, took a snack break, ogled the cuties from the BMW/Mini dealership.

The fact that they're both blue, while not something I'm even remotely disappointed about, is certainly a coincidence! :)
I had a choice between Black-Blue and Black-Orange on the MTB 2 years ago, and between blood Red and Blue on the Road bike today. They were easy choices ;)
Mi Rancho's Tacos & Fresh fruits
Awesome, not-too-heavy Tex-Mex meal at a nice little restaurant in Maryland.
Great fresh fruit selection with an excellent Mexican-style dipping sauce (I think the waitress called it 'Bienvuco')
Highly recommended! Great tortilla chips and hot/regular salsas too!

Chinatown Metro Red Line
I love how blandly, and grotesquely beautiful DC's Metro stations are. But I've always been too nervous to pull out my camera and be "the brown guy taking photos in a Metro station! Alert Gitmo!" :)
I finally summoned up the courage to pull out my fancy-schmancy new camera phone and snap a few - only this one turned out satisfactory!

The visuals and gameplay replay videos ont his are mind-boggling. I seriously cannot wait for this game to release (it's been delayed to December 07, I hear :( )
Until then, Motorostorm & BluRay movies from netflix make the PS3 sorth owning ;) And the newly added Media Extension features that let me browse all my Photos/Videos/MP3s off my Linux (or WinBlows)-based PC is just gravy!

Buffalo Chicken Salad ... for 3, or 4!
Sheesh - serving sizes for salads really shouldn't grow to such unmanageable proportions! But it tasted as good as it looked.
Except for the Bleu Cheese (which, IMO, is leftover cheese, gone bad, made famous, and forced down the gullets of unsuspecting wannabe cheese "connoisseurs"). I usually ask for a substitue - although i'm not sure how Feta would work with Buffalo Chicken.
My lucky streak with ordering incongrous items at 'themed' eateries is intact!

The Gandhi statue on mass Ave (DC) on Embassy Row.
It's a fun walk (in good weather, unlike this cold day!) through all the international embassy buildings. And the Indian Embassy SERIOUSLY needs to update the space they rent, or move somewhat upscale ... come on!
Green Truck!
Ha - this was a funny one! A Landscaper (apparently) parked at a car garage had covered this aging truck with matted fake turf.
Unfortunately the camera phone doesn't quite capture that and it looks like green paint - but this was a real, live (well fake-live) grass-coated truck.
Hmmm, grass ... maybe he had something else on his mind?
