Damaged
Sad to see the damaged wing ... but it was quite capable of flying around. An early morning shot in serene GreatFalls. I was probably the only person there!

2nd World War Memorial - Fountains Frozen
Another frozen-water photo - the 2nd World War Memorial is finally growing on me. I didn't care for the design when it opened, but their options WERE limited!
Skyline Drive - A Drive in the Clouds
Shenandoah National Park - Skyline Drive on a Rainy, Cloudy Day.

Lonely Maize
Lonely - Not Quite
Not quite! (just playing with composition and exposures!)
Symbols - Washington Monument
The Washington Monument and one of the numerous surrounding flagpoles. I loved this perspective, but would have liked to get it a BIT more oblique - perhaps with the tip of the monument also visible!
2nd WWM Fountain Ducks
Freeze-action shot. I love the effect of the water framing the duck.
Would have been nicer with only one duck, and a little more zoomed in, I guess. Next time!

Lincoln Memorial
From the base of the Washingon Monument. Simple, common photograph - but I'm happy with it. Got it in less-than-perfect lighting conditions, so I MUST be learning about exposure metering. Finally!
2nd WWM Pensive Duck Lincoln Memorial
Missed a head turn - the photo could have been nicer if the duck was looking a bit more left. Darn twitchy ducks!
